Noah's Crook

Noah is finished! (but for outlining)

A few colour swaps already - I've used 353 for the skin tones instead of the charted 225, which I thought was too pale a pink for the skin. I then used 760 in place of the recommended colour for the cheeks so the two tones would contrast the same as in the original. I was out of 826 in the sleeve (the middle tone), so I used 813 instead. Everything else is as in the original.

Got so much done in just a day! It's good to be back to stitching. XD

Annnd - We're Back!

Finally back to stitching again!!

This one is a long-awaited piece, that I have been wanting to do for literally years - Dragon Dreams' "Not Forgotten."

I don't have all the metallics it calls for, nor the awesome variegated brown they used for the ship, but I'm still working on it, because I finally have most of the other pieces in place, and I'm finished with college exams!!

Plus check out the blog changes! I like all the blues - and boy was the header a pain to get the right size! What do you think?

And there's the cutest thing - as I was stitching last night, I found a little giraffe in the shading. XD

Just a Little Longer!

Wow, it feels like forever since I looked at this blog!

So. Much. has been happening since I last wrote here. I'm finishing up a semester in college - a week left!! yay! - as well as developing a new website glorified blog, and associated social media in my spare time; it's been an absolutely huge project that is taking up all the time I normally would spend on literally anything else. I'm loving every moment of it, though! Figuring out the code and getting the links straight and working up images is great fun, actually, so I don't consider it time wasted at all. Hopefully I'll have a really nice finished product to share with you all when I'm finally done!

I'm planning on launching the site officially around the first of May. That'll give me time to finish up working on the site & the social media pages, and also to get some backlog on posts for the things that need to be posted more frequently. By the launch date, I'll have one final exam left in one college class, so I should be able to get back to other things - such as stitching! Fingers crossed!

Keep on stitching everyone!
